Hello, Café friends! This week we’re going to talk about Jesus Christ, the third and final dimension of the Trinity. Jesus is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). The Greek word for “image” is “eikon,” from which we get the word “icon.” In computers, an icon is a graphic symbol (usually a simple picture) that represents a program or command. Jesus is the graphic symbol that represents the Father. Remember this?
The Present therefore comes out from the invisible Future and perpetually and ever-newly embodies the Future in visible, audible, livable form, and returns again into invisible Time in the Past. The Son therefore comes out from the invisible Father and perpetually and ever-newly embodies the Father in visible, audible, livable form, and returns again into invisible God in the Spirit.
I can’t wait to talk about Him with you this Friday morning!
Love, Amy

Read Proverbs 8. Now read 1 Corinthians 1:30. Re-read Proverbs 8, replacing “wisdom” with “Jesus.”
Please ponder…
Tell me about the first time you met your husband. Was it love at first sight, or did it take a while? How did you meet your best friend? What do you remember about meeting someone at the Café for the first time?
