Ladies, I can’t believe I forgot to tell you the coolest thing! Not only has Jesus already walked each WAY, not only does He give us a TRUTH for today, not only does He solve every problem with LIFE forever – but He also DID for others exactly what He asks of us! For each command in Matthew 25:25-36, you can find an example of Jesus doing exactly what He expects us to do. Here are some examples, can you find more? - He fed the hungry: feeding the 4,000; feeding the 5,000; the Last Supper
- He gave the thirsty something to drink: water into wine; the woman at the well
- He welcomed strangers: the thief on the cross; the Syrophoenician woman (Gentiles)
- He clothed the naked: removing His garment to wash the disciples’ feet
- He looked after the sick: multiple healings and miracles
- He went to the prisoners: visiting Lazarus’ tomb, the ultimate prison
