Girlfriends, would you call yourself “wise”? Some days I’m a smart alec and other days I’m too smart for my own good, but most days I would hesitate to call myself “wise.” So I, for one, am looking forward to the next Neighborhood Cafe where we’ll learn how to be “A Wise Friend.”
Our prayer requests have been posted separately. Please remember to your girlfriends this week when you spend some time each day with our Lord. Say, how’s your daily Bible reading coming? We’ll talk about that and your “Second Cup” devotions at the Cafe.
Please RSVP for childcare by Thursday and let me know the number and ages of children you’ll be bringing. Also, please let me know if you’re bringing a friend so I can prepare more materials.
I hope you’ll join us this Friday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 (please note the new time!). Mary is bringing bread and a snack for Kids’ Cafe, and Carey is bringing fruit. I’ll brew the beans if you’ll bring a mug!
