“Who despises the day of small things?”

Eurice Moore

The Lexington Café Open House on Thursday March 4th was truly a blessing.

Coffee, tea and cake ready to be served, and I sat anxiously waiting for the knocks on the door. I expected from five to six ladies, yet I was blessed to have two beautiful women, Betty and Vernita, sit at my dining room table.

The time shared was priceless. Although Vernita and I reside in the same building and have known each other for nearly seven years, our relationship went to another level on Thursday evening. My dear friend, Betty, is not a member of our community but she never hesitates to encourage and support me in all that I do. My sisters, I love you and thank you from the bottom of my heart. I pray that you were as blessed as I was and that you will unite with me as I reach out to share God’s love with other.

I would be amiss if I fail to offer a warm thanks to my mother-in-law for providing the coffee pot, and my wonderful husband James for the roses that were used for the centerpiece and for his labor of love as he ran errands and cleaned the bathroom.

I will host another Open House!

Thursday, March 11, 2010

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Although I have a vision of seeing my dining room filled with beautiful ladies, numbers is not my focus.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday! Come expecting and you will be truly blessed!

I will bake another cake,

provide an assortment of teas

and brew the beans if you will bring a mug!

Know That I Love You,

Eurice

Dear Eurice, what a complete joy it was to read about your first open house! You have the perfect attitude (i.e., Lord pleasing) and I’m praying with you that God will touch hearts there in your neighborhood so that you may glorify His name to them! I can’t wait to see how tomorrow’s open house turns out for you. I’m praying a shower of blessings over your neighborhood! (P.S. I’m Amy’s mom.)
