“Give thanks in all circumstances.” I Thessalonians 5:18
I thank God for the most recent storm, although it was not a personal one (Blizzard of 2010). There was and still are mountains of snow and ice. After the blizzard everyone’s car was buried under the snow. In our own strength it would have taken countless hours and Superman strength to dig them out.
Yet, in our complex, we didn’t act alone but as a family. Everyone was wonderful and unselfish. With shovels, brooms, buckets, dust pans, and chisels, before long all vehicles were free of ice and snow.
Life is like that! We will always face challenges, but God never leaves us alone. If we isolate ourselves, things will become overwhelming and we feel trapped.
Nevertheless, we have a loving God, Who will always place someone in our path to help us through.
I thank God for all of you and I am grateful to be a part of what God is doing in all our lives.
Eagerly looking forward to seeing you on March 4th.
Don’t forget to bring your mug! I promise to brew the beans, provide the tea, cake and lots of love.
